DOUBLE DENIM

The double denim fashion is still trending and its universal no doubt about that.Its been a fashion style from way back specifically  from the 90's but its not something that originated from Africa am sure we are all aware of that and maybe thats why i see people around me follow this trend in a very wrong way....i cant deal... lol. Sometimes i just want to walk up to these  people and be like bros no be so them dey wear ham, sister no be like so oooo but you know minding your business is good for your health so you wont chop slap. Well, overtime, various fashionisters upgraded this fashion trend so any one who wears doesn't  look like a caricature or a rancher. There is nothing bad looking like a cowbow but they over do it with the boot, hat and belt. The double denim outfit should be a comfortable mode of dressing suitable  for any weather.

Here, i will just give you the basic rules you should follow when your want to rock this outfit. These rules are simple dont worry much. When you want to wear double denim you should have it in mind to pick different shades of the denim you are pairing. What i mean is the colour of the shirt or jacket should be different  from the shade of your trouser or skirt . When you pick  these two shades, definitely  one will be darker than the other so the darker shade should  be your trouser or skirt and the lighter shade for your jacket or shirt . Athough you can also have it the other way round but it better to go for the former because darker shades tend to slim your figure and lighter shades makes you look bigger sort of so its definitely  better to opt for the former (try it at your convenience  if you ain't convinced).

If the denim of same shade is what you have, its alright all you need to do is to step up your game a little bit more lol. What i mean is that in order not to create a plain, pale or matchy matchy look you just have to wear a statement  neckpiece or better still, your shoe and your bag should be of bright colours so u dont just pass unnoticed . You can also wear a beautiful crop top underneath your jacket or shirt but dont over do the whole thing i meant dont bother with the statement accessories if you prefer this method. Will show you pics on how to pair a similer shade of denim.

Another rule  this is for the guys. They often get it twisted  ..lol.. dont take offence oo but i dont know who gave them the idea that a double denim outfit should be baggy. Here, a baggy shirt or trouser is a NO NO.The  trouser should be skinny or fitted same for the shirt it should be fitted also. Again, if you are not very confident  yet about your denim on denim skills please dont't go combining colours just stay whithin the lane of black,grey,and blue.Last rule and this to ladies. After doubling your denim, dont use any other  denim accessories of any form  whether shoe or bag let it be ristricted to your outfit only. 

Since its a weekend, and i felt like doing the denim tingy today thats why i got inspired to give y'all these tips please  lets keep to it so that the world will be a better  place... just kidding lol.. but seriously  lets redefine our mode of dressing and if anyone can give other  tips  thats not here already, you are welcomed already .. muah...
